The Extreme Science program is offered to students from the Latino College Preparatory Academy who are interested in pursuing a college degree, and provides them hands on experience in certain disciplines within the science program.
The students are exposed to different programs such as forensic science, ecology, kitchen science, multi media, robotics, and electronics. In each of these classes the students are involved in classroom work as well as the hands on approach in which they are doing experiments, building robots, circuts, growing agriculture, and of course this class, in which the students are building this website.
LCPA Extreme Science has proven to be a great learning tool for these students. The students in this program excel because they chose to be in the program.visit us at [link]

Someone kick me out of my mind
I hate these thoughts I can't deny...
My experience first of all was awesome because living in the East side of San Jose, we don't get many luxuries like this. So it was very exciting and honoring to know that we are the first to test this program out. I am also glad that there are many sponsors supporting it.
The first time I found out this program, I have to admit, I was a little skeptical of its success. I was skeptical because no one had ever heard of "Extreme Science", "What is Extreme Science...". Us the students didn't even know we were in the program, they hadn't even announced it in school, until we were called to the program. We were very confused as to what was happening, I guess you can call it Destiny.
